New Song Helps
Modern Day Veterans
February 19, 2008
Mia
Global Publishing LLC is donating all proceeds
from their new song "Nation's Prayer" to
two Veteran groups to help them continue the humanitarian
programs they run to assist Veterans: The Veterans
of Modern Warfare (VMW) and The Vietnam Veterans
Assistance Fund (VVAF).
"We chose the VMW and the VVAF because they
do a remarkable job of helping our Veterans, especially
the modern day Veterans," states Mia Global
owner and producer Dan D'Alio. Dan adds, "The
spirit of the song, which was influenced by the
war on terror, brings out the emotional struggle
that everyone deals with when in any military conflict."
As
the first reviews of "Nation's Prayer" are
being posted on iTunes it is clear that the song's
message is hitting home to the average American.
You only had to be alive during 9-11 or watch the
nightly news to understand that this song speaks
to all Americans.
Mia
Global Publishing LLC also plans on keeping the
public informed of the amount of song downloads
and money donated to the VVAF and VMW by publishing
reports on its web site as they become available
from iTunes. "I want people to be aware of
the collective value of their contributions on
an ongoing basis," states Dan.
Keith King, President of the VVAF, was instrumental
in securing this project for the VVAF, along with
Julie Mock, President of the Veterans of Modern
Warfare.
The song is for sale on iTunes today with its
music video to follow. To Purchase the song or
